Vijay Ramanavarapu
President
As President of Granules USA and Granules Pharmaceuticals Inc., Vijay Ramanavarapu oversees commercial and operational activities across North America, including API and finished dosage businesses and U.S. operations at GPI.
Over the course of his career at Granules, he has held leadership roles spanning supply chain, investor relations, and business operations across India and China. Prior to joining Granules, Vijay worked as an investment banking analyst in California.

David Rekenthaler
Chief Commercial Officer
David Rekenthaler leads commercial activities for Granules Pharmaceuticals Inc. across North America, with responsibility for commercial strategy, sales execution, and business development.
He brings extensive leadership experience across retail, wholesale, distribution, and managed care channels. Before joining Granules, David served as Chief Revenue Officer at GSMS, Inc. and previously held senior commercial leadership roles at Teva Pharmaceuticals and Apotex Pharmaceuticals.

Dr. Sudhir Gorukanti
Senior Vice President, Research & Development
Dr. Sudhir Gorukanti leads Research & Development for Granules Pharmaceuticals Inc., overseeing formulation development and product innovation across the organization’s pharmaceutical portfolio.
With more than 25 years of experience in drug delivery and pharmaceutical product development, he has successfully guided numerous products from early-stage formulation through ANDA submission and commercial launch. Prior to joining Granules, Dr. Gorukanti held senior R&D leadership positions at Hikma Pharmaceuticals, Mayne Pharma, Actavis, Aurobindo Pharma, Teva Pharmaceuticals, Barr Laboratories, and Pfizer.
Education: Bachelor of Pharmacy, Kakatiya University; M.S. and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences, St. John’s University; Global C-Suite Program, The Wharton School.
Srinivasa Reddy Madduri
Vice President, Portfolio, Business Development & Commercial Operations
Srinivasa Reddy Madduri leads Portfolio, Business Development, and Commercial Operations for Granules Pharmaceuticals Inc., driving portfolio strategy, business development, and new product launches to accelerate growth and strengthen market competitiveness.
With more than 25 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, he brings deep expertise across portfolio strategy, complex generics, intellectual property, and new product commercialization. Prior to joining Granules, Srinivasa held senior leadership roles at Slayback Pharma and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, where he led initiatives in portfolio expansion, litigation strategy, and business development for increasingly complex pharmaceutical products.
Education: Master’s degree in Applied Chemistry, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University; Postgraduate qualification in Patent Law, NALSAR University, Hyderabad; Registered Patent Agent, United States and India.
Vamsi Nama
Head of Regulatory Affairs & Pharmacovigilance
Vamsi Nama leads Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacovigilance for Granules Pharmaceuticals Inc., overseeing regulatory strategy, compliance, and product lifecycle management across development and commercialization.
With more than 20 years of pharmaceutical industry experience, he brings extensive expertise in global regulatory submissions, health authority engagement, regulatory compliance, and pharmacovigilance. Prior to joining Granules, Vamsi held leadership positions at Novartis, Sun Pharma, Aurobindo Pharma, and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Gulbarga University.
Kamal Mandan
Chief Financial Officer
Kamal Mandan leads the finance organization for Granules Pharmaceuticals Inc. and its North American subsidiaries, overseeing financial strategy and operations that support the company’s continued growth and long-term success.
With more than 35 years of experience across the engineering, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries, he brings deep expertise in financial leadership, treasury operations, working capital management, mergers and acquisitions, and post-acquisition integration. Prior to joining Granules, Kamal held senior finance leadership positions with the Jubilant Group across India, Belgium, and the United States, as well as Inox Group and Schaeffler India.
Education: Chartered Accountant (India); Certified Public Accountant (United States).
Shishir Shetty
Vice President, Supply Chain Management
Shishir Shetty leads Supply Chain Management for Granules Pharmaceuticals Inc., overseeing planning, procurement, logistics, distribution, and supply continuity across North America.
With more than 20 years of global pharmaceutical industry experience spanning the United States, India, and Malaysia, he brings deep expertise in supply chain strategy, operational excellence, and regulated market operations. At Granules, Shishir has led key initiatives in digital supply planning, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), API sourcing, vendor diversification, third-party logistics optimization, and freight efficiency to strengthen supply resilience and support long-term growth.
Rakesh Tripathi
Senior Vice President, Operations
Rakesh Tripathi leads Operations for Granules Pharmaceuticals Inc., overseeing pharmaceutical manufacturing, plant operations, regulatory compliance, and production excellence.
With more than 30 years of pharmaceutical manufacturing experience, he brings deep expertise in large-scale operations, automation, cost optimization, and new product commercialization. Prior to joining Granules, Rakesh served as Site Head for Alkem Laboratories’ St. Louis facility and Cluster Head for its India operations in Baddi and Daman. He also held manufacturing leadership roles at Mylan, Panacea Biotec, and other global pharmaceutical organizations, driving operational excellence and scalable manufacturing growth.

With more than 20 years of human resources leadership experience, Bret brings deep expertise in talent acquisition, leadership development, total rewards, organizational transformation, and change management. He has successfully guided organizations through periods of rapid growth, mergers and acquisitions, and business transformation while delivering measurable improvements in employee engagement, retention, and operational performance.
